WOODWORKING SCHOOL FURNITURE CLASSES

I build furniture and teach woodworking classes in my shop, located in Historic Jonesborough, Tennessee. Here, you’ll find I offer a mix of projects ranging from our introductory woodworking essentials class to advanced furniture classes with lots of detail. Our woodworking classes focus primarily on developing hand tool skills. All of our projects use traditional mortise and tenon and dovetail joinery. At the end of the week you’ll leave with many new skills and a beautiful piece of furniture.

Classes are limited to only 6 people. Everyone will have their own workbench with plenty of space to work and lots of one on one instruction. All lumber is prepped the week before class so that there’ll be no standing in line waiting to use a machine.

I’ve worked with and taught along side Lonnie Bird for 30 years. You’ll benefit from my years of experience. I’m confident that you’ll have a great time here learning this craft. Looking forward to meeting and working with you!
